“Just to say what a wonderful 70th birthday celebration we held at Cats Abbey Barn over the weekend. Everyone loved the place - so much space, so well equipped (you’ve thought of everything!) and so warm! We didn’t even light the wood burning stoves. Very impressed with the heat pump/ underfloor heating technology.

We were pretty lucky with the weather and various walks were undertaken direct from the barn, including to the local cafe. And we had a splendid Sunday lunch at The Wheatsheaf squeezing rather more than the usual number into the private room - it was very cosy and good fun. Thanks to Dale and his team.

I think it is quite likely you will get future bookings from among our extended family over the coming years - it was the perfect place for a celebratory get-together!”

““We went to Cats Abbey on a work retreat and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful scenery and walks nearby. The space itself was great for hosting a large group for big meal, meetings and accommodation. There was plenty of space to go off in groups for smaller meetings. Thoroughly enjoyed it.” ”

My family flew in from all parts of the globe for my son’s wedding and it was such a pleasure to snuggle round the open fire or linger at the dining table and catch up with everyone’s news and happenings. Everyone has said that I couldn’t have found a better place for a family gathering and more compliments are flying through the letter box every day!
