Living Space

There are half a dozen separate spaces to congregate, but still plenty of room for everyone to be together.

The big barn has a magnificent high timbered roof

With a gallery looking down over an open plan living area, with a stone chimney and wood burning stove. A baronial dining table for 20 stands on a warm flag stoned floor, under a chandelier.

The Gallery

Up on the Gallery there are two sofas making a cosy sitting area.

The Terrace

The open fronted terrace faces south, and provides an alternative sitting or eating area, complete with under-floor heating and another wood burning stove.

TV

A TV with Satellite channels including BT Sports, Sky Sports and Sky Films is concealed in an oak cupboard beside the fireplace.

We also have installed a projector and electronic drop down screen which is connected to the TV so that you can watch on a big screen. Electronic devices such as computers can also be used to project onto the screen provided you have the necessary connections.

Music

Music can be played in the main area via Bluetooth through an integrated amplifier which has two large speakers. The Bluetooth connection is situated in the same area as the TV.

Wi-fi

A Wi-Fi receiver allows for any number of laptops to connect. You will find this under the Network ‘Cats Abbey Guest’. The password is ‘catsabbey’.

Games

Games for both adults and children are stored in our large bookcase in the main area.
