Cats Abbey is the perfect gathering place for groups of up to 24. It was designed and built for exactly that purpose. Half way between Oxford and Cheltenham, in the centre of the Cotswolds, it is easy to reach from anywhere in UK.

There are 10 beautiful bedrooms; 9 have en-suite wet-room showers and one has an adjoining bathroom. The family suite (two rooms) takes parents and 2 children.

So Bedroom accommodation is for 22, and two sofa beds on the gallery takes us up to 24 maximum.

The huge living space, with a heated flagstone floor, wood burning stove, gallery and beams, is probably the best barn conversion for miles around. The dining space can seat up to 30, and the kitchen has everything you would ever want; it’s a cooks delight.

If self-catering for 20 or more is not your idea of a break, then we have a list of country cooks and chefs who will come and look after you.

Most of our bookings are for weekends, Friday afternoon to Monday morning, so we are available for business meetings midweek. On the National Trust Sherborne Estate, 5 miles west of Burford, with spectacular views across the Windrush Valley, the location is perfect for a family get-together, or intimate and inspiring business meetings.
